Top designer Harri Koskinen has designed the Crew collection for SavetheC. These bags are made for people who enjoy nautical life and style, and who wish to decrease the environmental impact of their consumption.

The bags are manufactured from recycled sails. Every detail in the bag’s sail cloth is original from the sails that have sailed on the Baltic Sea. Authentic yacht fittings and small details create a feeling of sea worthiness. They were designed to carry considerably higher loads than your bag needs.

Non-shrinkable and comfortable elk skin, which most sailors are familiar with, is being used to protect the most sensitive parts from wear and tear and to give a soft feeling to the parts in touch with users skin. The rich details of the recycled sails ensure that each bag is unique. The sails are stored, pre-cut and washed by hand, using biodegradable detergent, in Hamari, a small seaside village in Southern Finland. The bags are hand-made in Finland.
