Sari Syväluoma (1966), MA, freelance designer. She has worked as a freelance designer ever since she established her own business in 1999. Sari has been exhibiting in national and international arena since. She has been exhibiting regularly in London 100% Design since 2001, Milan Salone Satellite 2002, St.Etienne and ICFF in New York. E.g. The Museum of Decorative Arts and Design in Oslo has bought her textiles in their collection.
Sari works with interior textiles, patterns and home accessories. The focus in on organic and quirky patterns and surfaces, contrasts in materials and vibrant Nordic colours. Colour and light is an important part of her works.
Nordic craftsmanship traditions is her interests. She provides her clients' innovative, open-minded and in-depth solutions, with a playful attitude. Her functionalist expression manifests visionary and sustainable design: visual multi-dimensional world is her passion.
