NERO design

Nero design is a Finnish company that designs and produces its own design items.
Nero meaning GENIUS in Finnish and BLACK in Italian, challenges the designer to combine
imperial luxury with Finnish do-it-yourself mentality. Nero design is an internationally
open project that happens where genius people meet each other – undefined.

The creator of Nero design, Sanna Silvia Ijäs, is a Master of Arts in textile design.
She has also studied package design in Finland and Japan. Besided Nero, Sanna
designs prints for industry and makes retailed design assigments in Finland and abroad.
