The founder of Design Kuu, Sannaliina Kuussaari (born 1970) had her Master of Arts degree from University of Art and Design, Helsinki, in 2003. Her studies in glass and ceramics department led her surprisingly to create her final work for a leading Finnish stone company Tulikivi. Due to this Design Kuu was born. Working with beautiful stone slabs Sannaliina returned to her favourite media, two dimensional designs.
