Wave shoes are contemporary, yet timeless design inspired by Scandinavian nature. Wave shoes combine design tradition and future. In manufacturing we use a traditional Finnish wood bending technique. However, a design innovation enables the wooden shoes to be very light and flexible when walking. Design and manufacture is completely Finnish. Wave shoes was awareded Best Design Product of the Year (2009) in Finland at the Ornamo Design Awards.

Wave shoes are ecological and natural. They are made of Finnish Birch, and surface colors vary from curly birch and pear to cherry and rose wood. The cover material can be chosen from leather, clear plastic, felt or different textiles. Birch bark cover cherishes the traditional Finnish handcraft technique in modern context.
